Synopsis
Mancanza is a never written film.
A group of people meets in a hypothetic Heaven.
Logline
Poetry’s mother is privation.
Director’s note
‘Mancanza is a film about Love’. A film without a real structure, without a recognizable narration. I would like that it could become an unrecognizable film. The script is abolished in the making of the film. After the making of my first feature film ‘A White Ballad’, I devoleped a greater tendency towards the doubt and I am driven by the necessity to use the doubt as a medium for the making of ‘Mancanza’.
About the film
The film is based of improvised situations. The main concept of the director Stefano Odoardi has been to place a group of people in a hypothetical Heaven and, in this context, to film the reactions and reflections caused by this extraordinary situation.
